Founded in 2011, Blast Cult grew from a love of upright basses, hot rods, punk rock, psychobilly, roots music, and handmade craftsmanship that refuses to behave. From the beginning, the mission has been simple: build instruments that sound right, feel right, survive the road, and look like nothing else in the room.

Now Blast Cult has entered its next chapter.

The shop has moved from London to Texas, relaunching as Blast Cult TX with the same spirit, the same edge, and the same obsession with craft. This move is more than a change of address. It is a rebuild, a relaunch, and a return to the bench.

From Texas, Jason is continuing the work that made Blast Cult what it is: distinctive upright basses, guitars, custom builds, parts, and gear made for players who live loud.

Blast Cult TX is here for the lifers, road dogs, rebels, weirdos, collectors, builders, and true believers — anyone who knows an instrument should have personality before you ever plug it in.
